A 500 Wh station may cover a small day’s use yet fall short for two days. A 1000 Wh station can store more energy and still lack the output your device needs. Start with an energy budget, then check the ports. This guide compares nominal sizes, not two verified 500 and 1000 Wh products or measured runtimes.

The buyer market is Spain (ES) and the product references are European variants. English does not select a store or validate a 120 V model.

Describe a day before choosing a model

For each device, record average power during use, hours and quantity. A representative measurement is different evidence from the maximum printed on a charger. If you only have an estimate, label it as an assumption and try another value.

The following loads are illustrative assumptions, not our measurements.

Hypothetical load Assumed average power Hours per day Quantity Energy
Laptop 40 W 5 h 1 200 Wh
Lights 6 W each 4 h 2 48 Wh
Small charging load 5 W 4 h 1 20 Wh
Total 268 Wh

Multiply power × hours × quantity. If all these assumed loads ran together, they would total 57 W; 268 Wh answers a different question: energy over the day. Do not compare Wh with a socket’s W limit.

Compare more than one usable-energy assumption

Nominal capacity is not guaranteed energy delivered to your equipment. For planning, choose a combined factor f: the fraction of nominal energy you will treat as available at the point where you counted the loads. It groups differences and losses into one assumption. It is neither a measured efficiency nor an instruction to discharge a battery to a particular level.

Required nominal capacity = load energy / f. Do not subtract a loss again if f already includes it.

Chosen, unmeasured factor Available from a 500 Wh scenario Available from a 1000 Wh scenario Nominal needed for 268 Wh For two days, 536 Wh
70% 350 Wh 700 Wh 382.9 Wh 765.7 Wh
85% 425 Wh 850 Wh 315.3 Wh 630.6 Wh
95% 475 Wh 950 Wh 282.1 Wh 564.2 Wh

With these three assumptions, 500 Wh exceeds the one-day energy calculation but not the two-day calculation without charging. The 1000 Wh scenario exceeds both days’ arithmetic requirements. That is an energy comparison: changes in loads, temperature, battery condition or station overhead can change the outcome. No universal spare-capacity margin has been established here.

Check the required output next

The documented reference products are not exactly 1000 Wh. DELTA 3 Plus EF-DL-H10-4 specifies 1024 Wh and 1800 W total AC; Explorer 1000 v2 JE-1000D specifies 1070 Wh and 1500 W total AC. Those AC limits are shared totals, not an allowance at every socket. eco_pdf jackery_manual

More Wh does not fix an unsuitable USB-C profile, a voltage mismatch or unverified motor starting. Do not assume a solar charging session will replace a particular daily energy amount either: a panel’s power rating is not a guaranteed daily yield.

Use your own figures in the output load checker, choosing buyer market and exact variant separately. Its editable usable-energy factor is also an assumption. A favourable numerical result does not guarantee operation.

Which size deserves a closer look?

If your budget remains comfortably inside 500 Wh when the assumptions change, investigate an exact product in that class and check outputs, carrying weight and charging; no 500 Wh product is validated here. If the calculation only fits the most favourable assumption, improve the load evidence or consider more capacity. For several days, total all days and extra loads before counting any recharging.

The documentary DELTA 3 Plus versus Explorer 1000 v2 comparison moves from capacity class to exact model. If a computer is your main load, also check USB-C versus AC charging. Confirm the selected option, accessories and current price at the Spanish store; no price or stock promise is made here.
