Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 (1070 Wh), station without a solar panel
1500 W of continuous AC shared by all sockets; USB-C1 is 30 W and C2 is 100 W. Confirm the plug on the exact listing; it has not been verified here.

A 220 W panel is not validated simply because a power station accepts 500 W. Voltage, current and the exact accessory also determine the purchase. This specification-based guide is for buyers in Spain, comparing the EU DELTA 3 Plus EF-DL-H10-4 and Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 JE-1000D. It contains no hands-on measurements. English does not establish a US-market variant. 1 2
Start with four separate panel records
| Field | Obtain from the panel manufacturer | How it informs the purchase |
|---|---|---|
| Rated power, W | Exact model and reference conditions | A reference power figure does not settle the other checks |
| Vmp and Voc, V | Operating and open-circuit voltage | These are different values; the station may set different requirements for them |
| Imp and Isc, A | Operating and short-circuit current | Compare each with the corresponding station requirement |
| Connector, polarity and cable | The accessory reference accepted for both devices | A plug fitting physically does not verify the pairing |
EcoFlow’s instructions specifically require checking Voc and Isc as well as the input specification. A W-only comparison therefore leaves the decision incomplete. 1
What these two inputs actually specify
| Exact station | Documented input | Shared limit and scope |
|---|---|---|
| DELTA 3 Plus EU | Solar: 11–60 V, 15 A and 500 W maximum per port | 1000 W across both inputs. The charging chapter requires Voc within 60 V and Isc within 15 A 1 |
| Explorer 1000 v2 JE-1000D | Two DC8020 inputs; 12–16 V working voltage: 8 A maximum, including both inputs; 16–60 V: 10.5 A per input | In the higher band, 21 A and 400 W combined maximum. These are working-voltage bands, not an undocumented open-circuit-voltage allowance 2 |
This table does not approve a particular panel. Jackery describes direct connection of 100 W or 200 W panels to each input and requires its specified connector for a particular two-panel arrangement. Identify the supported panel model and accessory rather than extending that statement to every panel with the same rated W. 2
A buying worksheet with a useful stopping point
Complete a separate row for each input you intend to use. Keep the source link and manual version with every value.
| Exact-pair check | What resolves it | If missing |
|---|---|---|
| Regional variant and input port | Device and manual model identifiers agree | Unverified |
| Working voltage | Meets the station’s specified range | Unverified |
| Voc in the intended conditions | Meets the limit using the panel manufacturer’s data | Do not connect |
| Currents and power | Meets each per-port and applicable combined requirement | Do not connect |
| Cable, polarity and accessory | The relevant reference is documented for both devices | Do not connect |
For cold conditions, obtain the panel manufacturer’s Voc temperature coefficient and calculation method, or its documented maximum for those conditions. We apply no generic multiplier: without that evidence, cold Voc remains unknown. Do not connect until every applicable pairing limit has been verified. 1
What the 220 W bundle means
The offer identified as EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus 1024 Wh + 220 W solar panel, ASIN B0DPQ9ZJ38, is a bundle, not the station alone or the base DELTA 3. The title’s 220 W does not establish Voc, Isc, temperature coefficient or cable reference. The station manual’s EU row also does not verify the plug or voltage of that advertised SKU. Obtain those details before choosing.
Dividing 1024 Wh by 220 W would not establish a full-charge time: it assumes constant rated input and omits losses and sunlight conditions. Record where you would deploy the panel, shading and the performance evidence its manufacturer publishes for that exact model. Power actually reaching the station remains to be established.
Make the purchase decision
If buying your first panel, begin with accessories the manufacturer documents for the exact station and cross-check their electrical records. If you already own a panel with a missing field, send both model numbers and labels to the manufacturer. Resolving that gap is more useful than buying an adapter without evidence. The load checker helps plan consumption; it does not certify solar inputs.
