Station, solar kit, panel or extra battery: what you get
If you own no power station and need AC outlets, the purchase to look at is a complete station or a station-plus-panel kit: a standalone solar panel or an extra battery cannot replace one. If you already own an EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus and mainly need more stored energy, the DELTA 3 Smart Extra Battery (EF-DL-E10-4) is one of the extra batteries its manual names, and the one covered here. If you need to recharge away from mains and have suitable sunlight, look at a maker’s kit or at a panel matched to your exact station, after the electrical and cable checks.
This compares manufacturer specifications and box lists; we have not tested or measured these products. It covers what Jackery’s and EcoFlow’s Spanish pages list, with the European EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus (EF-DL-H10-4) and Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 (JE-1000D) as reference stations. Language does not choose the market: pick your country of purchase separately.

Four purchases side by side
Values are the makers’ nominal or named figures, not measurements. Nominal energy is the battery’s rated capacity, not the energy your devices receive. The column order is not a ranking.
| Criterion | Station alone: Explorer 500 v2 | Station + panel kit: Explorer 500 v2 + one SolarSaga 100 | Standalone panel: 220W Lightweight, SolarSaga 100W or SolarSaga 200W | Extra battery: DELTA 3 Smart Extra Battery, EF-DL-E10-4 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| What the maker’s box list shows | Station and AC charging cable | Station, one SolarSaga 100 and AC charging cable | No verified box list for any of the three | Not established in our sources, including the connection cable |
| AC outlets | 2; voltage, frequency and plug not established in our sources | The same station: 2 | None: a DC panel | None documented of its own |
| Stored energy, nominal | 512 Wh | 512 Wh; the panel adds none | None | Adds 1024 Wh to a supported DELTA 3 Plus |
| Works on its own | Yes: a complete station | Yes: the same station | Not as a station: needs one with a matching input to store energy or supply AC; the SolarSaga 100W page also lists USB outputs on the panel | No: needs a supported station, here the DELTA 3 Plus |
| Recharging from sunlight | Needs a panel bought separately; the Spanish unit’s solar input is not established in our sources | Panel included; no solar yield is established | Its purpose, once matched to a station’s input | No: it stores energy, it does not produce it |
| Main open questions | Voltage, frequency, plug and model code | The panel’s model and generation; any other cable or adapter | Model codes, open-circuit voltage, current, connector and cable | Connection cable and version; usable energy of the combined system |
Sources: Jackery Spain’s Explorer 500 v2 page and Jackery Spain’s kit page for both box lists and the station figures; EcoFlow Spain’s extra battery page for the added 1024 Wh, and the compatibility table in the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus manual, PDF page 11 for the model pairing. Each panel’s page is linked in the panel table below.
Four different purchases behind similar product names
A station alone is a complete device with its own battery, outputs and inputs. A kit puts a station and a panel in one purchase. A standalone panel is a DC source with no AC outlets: on its own it cannot run mains equipment or hold energy for later. An extra battery adds stored energy to a station it is documented to pair with, and it is not a station by itself: our sources document no outlets or inverter of its own.
Official pages can carry more than one of these purchases under similar names. Jackery’s Spanish kit page has the web address solar-generator-500-v2, yet its box list is a station, one panel and an AC charging cable. EcoFlow Spain’s extra battery page lists the battery alone separately from a station-plus-battery choice, and EcoFlow Spain’s DELTA 3 / DELTA 3 Plus page combines two different stations, the DELTA 3 and the DELTA 3 Plus. The same care applies to bundles: a DELTA 3 Plus listed with a 220 W panel is a station-plus-panel purchase, and our sources do not establish the model or generation of that panel.
For the choice: decide first which part you lack, the whole station, a way to recharge it or more stored energy, and then check that the option selected on the page or listing is that purchase.
Station alone or the Explorer 500 v2 + SolarSaga 100 kit
Both are on Jackery’s Spanish site, and the station in both is the Explorer 500 v2: 512 Wh nominal and 500 W of continuous AC shared by two outlets, with an advertised 5.7 kg for the station on its own page. It is not the older 518 Wh Explorer 500. Its voltage, frequency, plug and model code are not established in our sources.
| Item in the maker’s box list | Station alone | Kit |
|---|---|---|
| Explorer 500 v2 | 1 | 1 |
| SolarSaga 100 panel | None | 1 |
| AC charging cable | 1 | 1 |
| Other cables or adapters | None listed | None listed; whether a cable to connect the panel is included is not established in our sources |
Sources: Jackery Spain’s Explorer 500 v2 page and Jackery Spain’s kit page.
The kit’s box list does not give the panel’s model code or generation, and our sources do not establish that it is the same revision as the panel on the standalone SolarSaga 100W page. Neither page establishes a solar charging yield or how long the station would run in any weather.
Buying the station alone and a panel later means checking the Spanish Explorer 500 v2’s solar input limits, which our sources do not establish, against the panel’s own electrical data.
For the choice: if you want to recharge an Explorer 500 v2 from the sun, the kit is the station-and-panel combination Jackery lists as one purchase; if you will charge only from mains, the station alone covers that, with the AC charging cable in its box list. Either way, confirm which cables the box contains before you rely on a connection.
An extra battery changes Wh, not inverter W
EcoFlow Spain’s extra battery page states that the DELTA 3 Smart Extra Battery adds 1024 Wh, and the compatibility table in the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus manual, PDF page 11 names it, model EF-DL-E10-4, among the extra batteries for the DELTA 3 Plus, model EF-DL-H10-4. With the station’s own 1024 Wh, 1024 + 1024 = 2048 Wh is nominal arithmetic: not usable energy and not a runtime. The introduction on EcoFlow Spain’s extra battery page mentions both the DELTA 3 Plus and the DELTA 3; we cover only the DELTA 3 Plus pairing named in its manual, because our sources include no DELTA 3 manual.
Our sources document no higher AC rating with it and no outlets of its own, so plan with the DELTA 3 Plus’s documented 1800 W of continuous AC in total (EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus manual, PDF page 26). Its connection cable, and whether one is in the box, are not established in our sources. Its Spanish page also shows an unrelated specification table, which we do not use.
Our sources establish no expansion battery for the Explorer 500 v2 or for the EU Explorer 1000 v2; that proves neither that they can nor that they cannot be expanded.
A second station is another complete device with its own outlets, for another place or another person; never connect two stations’ outputs together. The extra battery or second station guide compares both set-ups, lists the other extra batteries the DELTA 3 Plus manual names, and shows how to compare costs from your own quotes.
For the choice: an extra battery suits an owner of a supported DELTA 3 Plus who needs more energy in one place. It does not add outlets somewhere else, more AC watts or a guaranteed emergency runtime.
More stored energy or a way to recharge?
You can answer an energy shortfall in two ways: store more, with a larger station or an extra battery, or replace energy while you are away, with a panel or a kit. Neither comes with a guaranteed number in our sources. Nominal capacity is 512 Wh for the Explorer 500 v2, 1070 Wh for the EU Explorer 1000 v2 and 1024 Wh for the DELTA 3 Plus, or 2048 Wh nominal with its extra battery; none of these is the energy your devices receive. A panel’s rating is not a daily yield either: what reaches the station depends on sunlight, placement and the station’s input, and none of the panel pages here establishes it.
Size the need before you choose: the 500 or 1000 Wh guide builds an energy budget under several assumptions, and the camping fridge energy budget does the same for a fridge, with its starting and timer checks.
For the choice: if you will rarely have usable sunlight or time to set up a panel, compare stored energy; if you will spend several days away from mains in the sun, a matched panel or kit is the only purchase here that can add energy back during the trip.
Panel generation and cable checklist
| Panel, on the maker’s Spanish page | Named rating | Weight stated by the maker | Outputs on the panel itself | What the page says comes with it | Model code or generation |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| EcoFlow 220W Lightweight Portable Solar Panel | 220 W | Conflicting: 4.4 kg in the text, 5.1 ± 0.3 kg in the table | Not established in our sources | Not established in our sources, including a cable | Not established; not proven to be the NextGen 220W, the older 220 W bifacial panel or the panel in a DELTA 3 Plus bundle |
| Jackery SolarSaga 100W | 100 W | Conflicting: 3.6 kg and 4.7 kg | USB-C 5 V/3 A and USB-A 5 V/2.4 A: at most 15 W and 12 W by our arithmetic | Not established in our sources, including the solar cable and adapters | Not established; the older JS-100C manual is not proven to apply |
| Jackery SolarSaga 200W | 200 W | Not established in our sources | Not established in our sources | Feature text mentions a carry bag; an FAQ answer under an unrelated phone-charging question mentions one panel and a user manual; not a verified box list | Not established; not proven to be the SolarSaga 200W in Jackery’s US Explorer 1000 v2 kit |
Weights are shown as published, with their conflicts, and are not compared. For all three panels, the values you need to check a pairing are not established in our sources: the open-circuit voltage (Voc), including in cold weather, the short-circuit current (Isc), the connector, the polarity and the cable. Do not fill them from a similar panel or another region: the figures published for the NextGen 220W, or for the SolarSaga 200W in Jackery’s US kit, belong to those products.
Station inputs differ too, as the two reference stations show. The DELTA 3 Plus has two XT60 solar inputs, each 11–60 V, 15 A and 500 W at most, 1000 W in total, and its manual requires the panel’s Voc within 60 V and Isc within 15 A (EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus manual, PDF pages 15–16 and 27). The Explorer 1000 v2 has two DC8020 inputs, with 400 W combined in its 16–60 V working band; a working-voltage band is not an open-circuit-voltage allowance (Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 EU manual, PDF pages 3 and 8). With two connector types on two stations, there is no universal panel connector to count on.
Fill in the solar panel checks before buying for each input you plan to use, with the panel maker’s data. This page gives no daily solar yield, no charging time and no series or parallel wiring advice.
For the choice: buy a standalone panel only when you can complete every row of that worksheet for your exact station, starting with panels the station’s maker documents for it; otherwise, ask the maker before buying.
Who each purchase fits, and who should rule it out
Station alone: Jackery Explorer 500 v2 (Spanish page). It fits you if you have no station, need AC power within 500 W in total on two outlets and will recharge from mains, once the Spanish unit’s voltage, frequency and plug are confirmed. Rule it out if you will run more than 500 W at once, if you want solar recharging in the same purchase, or if you need its solar input limits documented before buying.
Station plus panel kit: Explorer 500 v2 + one SolarSaga 100. It fits you if you have no station and want the maker’s own station-and-panel combination for recharging away from mains in suitable sunlight. Rule it out if you will run more than 500 W at once, if you need the panel’s model, generation or connection parts documented before buying, or if you need a guaranteed solar yield.
Standalone panel: EcoFlow 220W Lightweight, Jackery SolarSaga 100W or SolarSaga 200W. It fits you if you already own a station and can complete the solar worksheet for its input with the panel maker’s data, starting with panels the station’s maker documents for it. Rule it out if you have no station to connect it to and need stored energy or AC outlets, or if carrying weight decides your choice, since the published weights conflict or are missing.
Extra battery: EcoFlow DELTA 3 Smart Extra Battery, EF-DL-E10-4. It fits you if you own a DELTA 3 Plus and mainly need more stored energy in the same place. Rule it out if your station has no documented pairing, as with the Jackery stations here, if you need more AC watts or outlets in a second place, or if you have no station yet. With a DELTA 3, confirm the pairing with EcoFlow first.
Decide by your situation
- If you own no station and need AC output, consider an exact station or a complete kit. Do not expect a standalone panel or an expansion battery to substitute for a full station.
- If you already own a supported station and mainly need more stored energy, consider a documented matching extra battery, such as the EF-DL-E10-4 for a DELTA 3 Plus, after checking its cable and version. Do not expect more AC watts or a guaranteed emergency runtime.
- If you need to recharge away from mains and have suitable sunlight, consider a precisely matched panel or kit after the electrical and cable checks. Do not expect a daily solar yield, a universal connector or freedom to wire panels in series or parallel.
- If your main load is a laptop, first check whether you need a station at all with the laptop power bank or power station comparison.
How to handle missing or conflicting specifications
Keep a field unknown until the maker resolves it, rather than filling it from a related document, another region or a similar name.
| Gap or conflict | What our sources show | What to check, and where |
|---|---|---|
| 220W Lightweight weight | 4.4 kg in the text and 5.1 ± 0.3 kg in the table of the same page | EcoFlow, for the unit you would receive |
| SolarSaga 100W weight and weather wording | 3.6 kg and 4.7 kg on the same page; its wording about weather also conflicts | Jackery, for the unit you would receive |
| SolarSaga 200W contents | A carry bag in the feature text; one panel and a user manual in an FAQ answer under an unrelated question | Jackery or the seller: the complete box list |
| Model codes and generations of the panels | Not established for the three panels or for the kit’s SolarSaga 100 | The model code on the listing and on the label |
| Panel cables and adapters | Not established for the three panels; besides the station and panel, the kit lists only the AC charging cable | The maker, for each connection you need |
| Explorer 500 v2 (Spanish page): electrical data | Voltage, frequency, plug, model code and solar input not established | The rating label or Jackery Spain |
| Extra battery cable and version | Not established | EcoFlow or the seller, for your DELTA 3 Plus version |
| Extra battery with a DELTA 3 | The Spanish page’s introduction mentions the DELTA 3; our sources include no DELTA 3 manual pairing | EcoFlow, giving your station’s model |
| Extra battery page | An unrelated specification table appears on the Spanish page | Ignore it; use the station manual’s pairing |
| Usable energy of station plus extra battery | Not established; 2048 Wh is nominal arithmetic | No runtime follows from it |
| Panel in a DELTA 3 Plus + 220 W bundle | Model and generation not established | The bundle’s listing and EcoFlow |
Before you buy: what you receive and what to confirm
